Keep Away from Direct Sunlight: Sunlight fades the colors of dried flowers quickly. Avoid Humidity: Moisture can cause mold and make petals limp. Best to keep them in dry, well- ventilated rooms. Stay Cool: Room temperature or cooler is ideal. Avoid placing them near heaters, fireplaces, or warm appliances.
Use a soft brush, feather duster, or a hairdryer on cool/low setting from a distance to remove dust gently.
Never water dried flowers — they’re preserved and adding moisture can ruin them. Avoid perfumes, sprays, or essential oils directly on the blooms.
Place them in a spot where they won’t be bumped or handled often. Use a heavy vase or container to prevent tipping over.
You can lightly spray with unscented hairspray to strengthen and preserve the petals. Do it from about 12 inches away, and let it dry completely. Only do this every 4–6 months or if flowers become too brittle.
If you have extra dried blooms, store them in acid-free tissue paper, in a dry box or container, in a cool, dark space.
